There once was a lad named Josh. When Josh was very young, his great-grandmother blackmailed him into learning piano, or he wouldn’t get to have a Bar-mitzvah. Why Josh stuck with those ridiculous piano lessons, or even wanted a Bar-Mitzvah in the first place? We’ll never know… but here we are.
Upon a fateful summer day many years ago, Josh committed himself to integrate the piano training of his youth with the magic of electronic music production. He soon embarked on a life-long exploration of sound design, and conceived of a venture known as Laughing Matters.
The ever-evolving music of Laughing Matters offers a genre-defying soundscape of acoustic instrumentation fused with an effortless blend of eclectic samples, cinematic themes, and gooey bass droplets of squish. Since the debut release of “One Time” in 2016, Laughing Matters has grown in popularity, allowing Josh to continue sharing his luscious noises with wiggly dancers across the land.
